Almost...!!!

Was lack of sleep and having unproper sleep for 3 continuous weeks...

7 December 2009 - 10 December 2009 having hockey training...
11 December 2009 - 13 December attending the Pesta Hoki USM Penang International 2009...
14 December 2009 - 17 December 2009 having December intake students' orientation's workshop...
18 December 2009 - 20 December 2009 joining outdoor activities with the adventure team...
21 December 2009 - 24 December 2009 handling the December intake students' orientation...

25 December 2009 departed back to hometown for a very short break to spend some time with my family before start the new sem on 28th of December 2009.

Well, I was so damn very very tired after all those activities.
So all the way driving back to Ayer Tawar from Tanjung Malim, I was so damn sleepy.

There was a few times feeling like wanna fell asleep but I still manage to stay up.
But then, anyway and anyhow there's once I failed to control it.

As such, I almost knocked onto a Toyota Avanza of the opposite lane.
Luckily I opened up my eyes on time and quickly turned my steering back into my position.

Fuhhh...really very lucky that I managed to take control of it but then the adrenaline rush in me was so damn high at that moment.
After that, felt very scared to fall asleep even for a second...

So, it's ALMOST an accident but luckily it did not happened...
Thank God...

Summon...Summon...Summon...???

Date : 14 December 2009 (Monday)
Time : Around 3:25pm
Location : Tanjung Malim

Happened after finish having KFC with my friend.
Just about 100 metres and directly after the cornering, I saw a group of policemen.

Haha...I was so cool and acted like nothing is wrong with me.
Well, one of them stopped me down.
Winded down my window...and here goes the conversation between us...

Police: Bagi I/C dan lesen
Me: Taking out my I/C and driving license to be handed to him together with my friend's I/C.
Police: Tahu apa kesalahan?
Me: In silence (acted like blur)
Police: Tinggal di Ayer Tawar?
Me: Ya...
Police: Student?
Me: Ya, student...
Police: Belajar mana?
Me: UPSI
Police: Apa kesalahan? Mahu saman seorang ke dua orang?
Me: Asked my friend what is our kesalahan.
My friend: Didn't put on the seat belt.
Police: Tahu salah kan...
Me: Kita baru saja nak drive keluar.
Police: Masa belajar memandu dulu, masuk dalam kereta memandu kena pakai seat belt kan...
Me: Still in silence...
Police: Mahu saman seorang atau dua orang? Kompaun RM100 seorang, kalau 2 orang RM200.
Me: Saman saya seorang lar...
Police: Returned my friend's I/C then he walked towards his colleagues to issue me a summon.
Me: Waiting in the car with my friend while waiting for him to come back to return me my I/C and driving license together with the summon.
Police: (Came back to us) Kali ini saya bagi amaran pertama sahaja...
Me: Ok, terima kasih...

Keep all my stuff then drove away...hehe...
Lucky me... ;-)

Pesta Hoki USM-Penang International 2009

Well, I'm not an expert in hockey games but of course I know how to hold the stick...haha...
Actually
the team is lack of player, so my friend asked me to join in.
So I agreed to join and was having
training every morning and evening (7 - 10 December 2009).

So just to fill in the team and send in participation (there were 2 teams with 1 team was all the experienced players).
Went to USM on
11 December 2009...

This event was to have a record of 36 hours non-stop matches from 11-13 December 2009.
Started off with the junior event then the open category and lastly the IPTA/IPTS...

For the first time I had sports event so late at night and early in the morning...
The matches for my team were on 13 December 2009 at 1:15am, 3:15am and 4:15am...

Lose in all the matches but that is not the important thing for our "rojak" team (the newbies + first timer)...
I felt very happy being asked to join in because I get to gain experiences (thanks to my friend)...
Very tired and exhausted
after that but do enjoy this first experience for me...

Our accomodation at M04 D.Saujana...

Some photos...

Oh yea, before I forget...I even bring back an unforgettable moments.
In the last game versus UM at 4:15am, there was an opponent trying to score and I was the defender.
Without I realizing the on-coming ball,
I was hit on the head...
Huhu...kinda painful, luckily I'm still normal and able to continue till the end.

Haha...impact of the hockey ball

Perak Amanjaya International Eco Adventure (Final Stage --> Pasir Salak - Pangkor Island)

Ahaks...after dropping my mom at her friend's shop, I brought along my youngest brother with me to get crazy with me...hahaha...
Of course bringing him to be my cameraman while I'm driving...hehe...

Not really crazy actually but it's just that I want to see on my own how is the event...
So this Perak Amanjaya International Eco Adventure went on since 2 December 2009 till 6 December 2009 with ESPN Star Sports as the main broadcast with 14 international countries participating.

Some pictures and videos that we managed to capture...

And the results of the overall challenge:

Where Are YOU...?!?!?!

Where are you...where are you...where are you...???
As the years go year by year, I can sense that you are slowly missing from me little by little and bit by bit and making me sometimes feel so down...

I really...really...missed all the glories and victories and toughness I got during the schooldays especially 2000-2004
(the best would be 2000-2002), 2003-2004 started going down...down...down...but still stable...

I miss the feel of all that moments...
All that were really very...very...strong during that time but now seems like fading away slowly from me...

What happen...??? What happen...???
I'm the one causing this to change...??? or "YOU" just wanna leave me alone seeking my own journey...???

Where is the confidence, the stubbornness, the determination, the aggressiveness, the toughness...???
Where...where...where...???

Please come back to me, I really need all that...
Sometimes feel so lonely without all that in me...

Come on, Yun Loi...!!!
Come back to me and bring me to my real self...
Wanna be happy and fresh and hyperactive and super duper tough just like the Yun Loi as in 2000-2004
(was so natural and not pretending or acting or hiding myself)...

There's only kindness still being loyal staying with me...
This is not enough, people might be taking chances onto me because of KINDNESS...
Sometimes I don't know how to say NO...NO...NO...!!! (poor me...)

Wake up and be strong...!!!
I can stand on my own when all these come back to me...
I will wait for you to come back into me slowly, little by little, bit by bit and at last complete what I want to be...
(I will complete the missing pieces of the puzzle of my life)

And stand on top of the world...be my own self...just be myself and live my own life...!!!

JPJ...

So I have done everything needed to be done during my this shortest break ever...
Done with the
banking stuff, car service at workshop and also JPJ...

Sem break till 27 December 2009 but will be heading back to UPSI next week (7 December 2009), some stuff to be done at faculty then also involve with the December intake students' orientation...

All right, back to the main topic here.
..
--> JPJ
Was in JPJ to renew my driving license on 1/12/2009 evening...
Actually at first feel kinda lazy to go because always got a lot of people (already renew once at post office due to the crowd at JPJ in 2007).

So the expiry is by the end of this year and I don't want to renew at post office again because if I renew through post office then I'll need to bring altogether 3 driving license with me.
As such, went to JPJ to renew it and for the first time and I was
a bit shocked because just a few people there (can be counted using only my fingers)...haha...

I only need to wait for two numbers and for the whole process beginning from my queuing time till the license is done took me less than 10 minutes...
Haha...was so happy and relief because no need to waste much time waiting...

The old license can keep at home and just bring with me the new one...
(the new photo look a bit chubby, after taking off braces...hehe....)

Island Red Cafe

On the 1st of December 2009, after settling all the banking stuff and drop by at the car workshop, had lunch with my mom and youngest brother at Island Red Cafe, Seri Manjung.
Had not been to here before, so just wanna have a try...

When reached at the cafe, I saw something on the table (something like control) and I thought it belonged to somebody so moved to another table on the other side.
Haha...well,
the "something" is on each and every table of this cafe.

It is a control which has
2 functions.
Press the upper button when we are ready to order our food.
Press the lower button when we want to ask for bill.

This is that "something"...

Don't know what to eat because when we looked at the menu, it was a bit expensive compared to other cafe which we have been to before.
So we just ordered Asian delights food.

My mom ordered Cantonese Ying Yong, I ordered Jiang Nan Fresh Mee and my brother ordered Singapore Fried Rice Vermicelli...
I ordered this kind of thing because I have not heard before, so just want to know and try it...

Really make me
very...very...full because the quantity is a lot...

Cantonese Ying Yong...

Jiang Nan Fresh Mee...

Singapore Fried Rice Vermicelli...

One thing which we are not very satisfied is the 10% service tax.
If it is of the standard like Starbucks, Coffeebean, Black Canyon, etc...then it's okay but then...haiz...

PIKOM PC Fair 2009

After all those camps and courses, went back to my hometown on the 26th of November 2009...
Departed at 11:40am and reached Ayer Tawar at about 1:50pm...
So just packing my stuff and put all those dirty smelly clothes into the washing machine...not forgetting washing the super duper dirty shoes after walking in the jungle at Kem Bina Negara Lipis, Pahang...

Got news from my youngest brother that there is a PC fair at
Dewan Merdeka, Seri Manjung and 27 November 2009 is the last day.
So on the
27th of November 2009 (Hari Raya Haji) together with my sister, we went to the PC Fair and have a look.

Well, one thing which I had been waiting for so long is an external hard disk and after keeping some money to buy it...at last I bought one at the PC Fair...
At first, I was a bit blur because didn't know which one to choose between Samsung and Transcend...
The difference is only on the duration of warranty (Samsung-3 years and Transcend 2 years).

At last, I bought Transcend because of it's speciality in shockproof which was drop tested at the US Military Standard...

Price --> RM31x
Internal HDD --> 2.5" 5400rpm
Capacity --> 500GB
Anti-Shock Protection --> Excellent
Dimensions --> 134 x 80.8 x 18.8 mm
Weight --> 206g
Outer Case Material --> Polyurethane
Interface --> USB 2.0
Power Saving Mode --> 10 mins
One Touch Backup --> Yes
Warranty --> 2 years

The Transcend StoreJet 25M 500GB

I'm not very good of which is good and which is bad...but as long as it is something beneficial to me then it's okay...
Most importantly I can store all my assignments and study stuff in it besides all the memories (photos)... :-)

Oh yea...information for those wanna catch the upcoming PIKOM PC Fair...

UPSI Leadership Course 2009

UPSI Leadearship Course 2009 (Kursus Kepimpinan Mahasiswa UPSI 2009) was being held from 21-25 November 2009.
We were being informed of the date and location on the 19th of November 2009.
So I was already involved with the Yayasan Tunku Abdul Rahman's camp from 20-22 November 2009 (already confirmed a month earlier).

Anyway and anyhow I was being informed that it is compulsory for me to attend this course.
As such, the concerned party has written an excuse letter for me to attend it 1 day late which I will only be attending it on 22nd of November 2009.

I left the YTAR camp on Saturday (21/11/2009) night.
On
Sunday (22/11/2009) went to Kolej Aminuddin Baki (KAB) to report my attendance.
At first, I felt so weird why need to go so far to board a van/bus, why not just take it at campus...but then just follow the order...

I thought they had already left UPSI and went to Kem Bina Negara Lipis, Pahang on 21/11/2009.
Then only I know, we would be having the
Leadership Course there for 2 days before departing to Pahang (23-25 November 2009) for a Biro Tatanegara Course.

I just reached and was to take my tag and file then wanted to silent my phone but then the officer informed me that phone will be kept throughout the course.
Haih...I haven't inform any of my family members about this matter or any of my close friends about it and immediately need to off my phone and hand in to them...

I was very attracted to the games which need our attention and focus to react upon the response.
Will spread out this to my friends out there
who do handle camp or course to students, it was really fun... :-)

On
23 November 2009, we departed to Kem Bina Negara Lipis, Pahang at about 8:50am and reached there around 2pm (took quite long because was using the Kuala Lumpur route, the nearer route would be the Fraser's Hill which we used while on the way back to UPSI from the course)...

Well, it was a BTN course so I think most of us know what is the content of it.
We are Malaysian...!!! :-)
Oh yea, this campsite is one of the adventure BTN campsites apart from the one in Ulu Kenas, Perak.
Our module is not of the physical stuff so most of our activities were on discussions and
teamwork through indoor challenges.
Of course it is also compulsory for us to hand in our phone, so no handphone throughout this course also...

But we do had the chance to experience two physical stuff which were the flying fox and night jungle walk...
Flying fox ok lar...before this do experienced it but it was in a position of sitting with 'L' shaped legs.
The one we were having here was in
free-style, we were flying like superman...yihaaa...very exciting and I like it very much...hehe...

One of my favorite is the
Night Jungle Walk...
On Tuesday (24 November 2009) night after our indoor activity ended at around 11:30pm, we went for our supper drink.
We got news that we will be having some activity later on in the mid-night or early morning but don't know what time, so we went
back to our room had some rest and yea did sleep also...

So came Wednesday (25 November 2009), at 2am the physical instructors made announcement and even put on firecrackers I guess (there was a few loud explosions).
Haha...we didn't get out immediately but still taking our time washed our face and brushed our teeth...
When everybody is done and lined up outside, it was already 2:30am.

After some brief instructions, we went into the jungle and everyone waited for the turn to
walk in the jungle alone by holding on to the rope tied from tree to tree as a guide for us (no torchlight allowed of course for this activity)...
Yeah, it was dark at first but as being told by one of my 'guru' 2 weeks back, after a few seconds we actually can walk in the darkness (this is true)...
Climbing up the hill
was fun also because it was a bit slippery and steep, luckily I wore the proper shoes...and of course did hold on to the tree (hug the tree) to climb up...hehe...

Overall, it was not too bad and all the modules that had been planned for us were to
build a stronger leader with more self-confidence, trustworthy, loyalty, responsibility and teamwork...

No photos of activities because no handphones and camera allowed...
So after getting back the phone at the end of the course, before leaving the campsite, I managed to capture "a bit"...hehe...

YTAR November 2009 Camp

This time the camp was being held at Residence Hotel, Universiti Tenaga Nasional from 20-22 November 2009...

On Friday (20 November 2009), just the procedure of check-in to the hotel then some briefing by our CEO at night then lights off and the next morning, morning walk/run together with our CEO...
Well, there were some of us lost the way and ended up the session a bit earlier than the team with CEO...hehe... (we should move faster next time then, so that we won't lose the way)...

So, the concept for this camp was more on discussion about Tunku Abdul Rahman's speeches towards our independence.
The few chapters which we discussed on were the Baling Talks, Malay Rights, Malay Culture, Nation Unity, First Development Plan, and the Constitution...
The group discussion went on with the help of lecturers from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).

My group members...

In the evening, the Frisbee Challenge was a very exciting game although it was my first time as a sports student...
Some more we were
playing in the rain...haha...unforgettable moment and there were some of you guys sliding all over the field to catch the disc... ;-)

Huhu...a bit sad because this time around and for the first time I left camp earlier.
Also a bit disappointed because not much photo snapping from me... :-(
On Saturday (21 November 2009) night, directly after the programme ended at 11:30pm, went back to my room, took my stuff and boarded the UPSI's van at 11:50pm.

Sorry yea my fellow friends (Tunku Scholars), didn't even say a good bye to all of you and I left the camp in such a rush.
Gotta attend UPSI's Leadership Course the next day...

I was wondering how was the Physical Test on Sunday (22 November 2009) morning which I missed out...
Fun...??? Tiring...??? Exhausted...??? Exciting...??? Motivating...???

Look forward to meeting all of you again in the coming camp in 2010...

Gunung Besar Hantu and Kenaboi International River Challenge

This sem exam ended on the 13th of November 2009...directly after the last paper ended I went to Jelebu, Negeri Sembilan for a hiking trip to Gunung Besar Hantu joining the IMU students being handled by the Kenaboi Adventure Team (actually I was with the adventure team...)

Nothing much on Friday the 13th, some more when reached at the campsite it was quite late already.
Just
some briefing by the team manager to the IMU students.
Then, we, the managing team packed our stuff for the expedition of the next morning.

On the 14th of November 2009, everyone was so excited on the hiking trip and there were some warming up session before departing to the starting point of the expedition.

Some activities together with the IMU students...

Starting of the trip...

So the team manager and one of the members together with me, just accompany the students for some distance.
Then the three of us gotta head back to the campsite, have a look on the Kenaboi International River Challenge event and assist on what is needed.
It was a
River Challenge event, so the whole day just moving around looking at the participants and follow where ever our team manager go...hehe...

At night, we went to...if I'm not mistaken, Sungai Puom (can't remember lorr....)
Chit chatting at there and there were performances...

Performance by the Negeri Sembilan's Cultural group I guess (this was the last part where they asked the participants to join together)...

The last day, 15 November 2009, there was Rapid Challenge and it was so exciting to watch all the participants compete among each other.

Some of the participants from UPSI

Starting of the challenge

During the challenge (some pics only)...

The champion for this category was still being defended by the previous champion, Encik Benderi (my lecturer)...

Congrats to my friends as well, all of them did bring back victory (both in the River Challenge and also the Rapid Challenge)...

During the closing ceremony, the most exciting part was the competition of catching the ducks...

It was my first time watching such event and one of my friends did joined in.
He managed to catch three ducks and brought back to UPSI...hehe...

Really want to
thank the team, bringing me up to more experiences of all these...thank you!!!

Camp...Camp...Camp...Course...Course...Course...

Woah...another big gap of my last post posted up here...
Was
kinda busy with so many stuff coming in and out...

So after my exam ended on the 13th of November 2009, directly I went for a hiking camp in Jelebu, Negeri Sembilan from 13-15 November 2009.

Then from 20-22 November 2009 was having the Yayasan Tunku Abdul Rahman camp for the Tunku Scholars being held in Residence Hotel, Universiti Tenaga Nasional.

Got one UPSI Leadership Course from 21-25 November 2009 being held in Kem Bina Negara Lipis, Pahang.

There was a clash between the Yayasan Tunku Abdul Rahman camp and the UPSI Leadership Course, so I was to leave the Yayasan Tunku Abdul Rahman camp on the night of 21 November 2009 and attended the UPSI Leadership Course one day late which is on the 22nd of November 2009...

Will post up on each and every of the camp and course in the upcoming post...
(hopefully)

This coming week, need to attend another compulsory course which will be held from 1-3 December 2009 but still don't know of the location yet...

Hohoho...busy...busy...busy...my shortest sem break ever...

The Froggy + Small Little Bitter Gourd Soup...

Haha...here is the post about the Froggy + Small Little Bitter Gourd Soup which I took for 4 consecutive days (2-5 November 2009) after an unexpected fever from 29 October 2009 till 1 November 2009...

So I was having a whole body joint pain after I woke up on 29 October 2009 morning.
Then was just
taking paracetamol, hoping to get rid the pain.
But then it was all no use because the fever was "on and off"...

Something weird happened for the first time in my life of having a fever.
On the
mid-night of 1st November 2009 after taking my medicine and supplements, suddenly my whole body was shivering like a Parkinson patient.

I was afraid at that moment because my whole body was shaking for more than half an hour and I was gasping for oxygen lying on the bed...
Luckily it did went off but I could not take in any medicine because kept on vomitting out everything, so just slept after the "powerful shivering" of my body...haha...

And because of that sudden shivering, my whole body got so tired and I was lack of energy at that morning.
I thought everything is okay on that Sunday morning (1 November 2009) but the
fever strucked back at night, so my auntie asked my parents to quickly send me to the hospital for a blood test because worried if it was a dengue.

So went for a blood test at the government's hospital...gotta wait for about 1 hour man to see the doctor...!!!
When it was my turn, I entered the room like a drunk person because I was feeling very dizzy.

Then there's one guy to put on the IV for me, he was so clumsy...
I think it's because he was a bit slow and as such my blood was dripping out before he insert the IV stuff, so there was some blood on my pants and on the bed...

Waited for about another 1 hour for the result...
Then the doctor said there was nothing serious, it's just that my neutrophil was too high... (I think I came across this term when study Biology but can't remember what is it...hehe...)
So just need another blood test on the next day for a comparison...

Before went back home at that same night, got 1 injection at my buttock...
I just can't understand why should there be 2-3 guys to accompany me during the injection...
I'm not a little child...or they have nothing to do...

Haha...so here's the photos of the delicious soup prepared by my mom (8 hours put into steaming to get the soup)...
Thank you so much mom, everytime when I fall sick or went for operation, you are the one sacrificing your time to accompany me...
I owe you mom...!!!

Before...

After...

Doesn't matter lar...as long as I am still updating it...

So this is a post about my course having a "jamuan" with our mentor on 20 October 2009.
I named it D.R.T. --> DeepaRayaTanglung because it was held after all those 3 celebrations... :-)

I am getting lazy to type lots of words, so as usual...
pictures will tell the story...hehe...

That's my class leader with my mentor
