Triple T = TIP Taiwan Tour (Day 1)

Got a chance to join the company trip for a Taiwan Tour from 03/11/2011 until 09/11/2011. It was a memorable trip for me with the colleagues as it was my first and last trip with them. It was a trip touring the whole Taiwan and was a bit rushing from one destination to another. Anyway, it was fun for me especially to shoot photos on some of the nice scenic view.

TIP @ Jahang River Paintball

Some of the events I've gone through with my colleagues during my temporary placement in Tay Ibrahim & Partners at Ipoh Garden South (23/05/2011 - 29/02/2012). Although just being with them for nine months but the people I met & get to know were great & awesome.

For this post, I would post up our company's activity back in October 2011. As usual I will post up photos & let the photos tell the story.

Seems like a dead blog yea since I have not updated my blog for almost half year I think...hmmm...

Haha...seems like dead as how I am living now is it...???

I am not active anymore...

Just working & working in the office for 5 working days...

Driving from house to workplace then from workplace back to house...

No more outdoor...

No more adventure...

No more challenge...

Exercise less due to laziness...

Television becomes companion but at last it's not me who watch the television & it's the television that watch me over...

How bored is it???
Haha...no comment & well, still waiting for application & posting...

By the way, gotta update all those past posts which I have left out for such a long long time...hehe...

Selangor Shines Extreme Challenge

Location : Shah Alam, Selangor

Ahaksss...have not participated in any of the adventure challenge before.
This was the first time joining and have wanted to gain experience of it actually.

Well, without proper training and joining for fun to gain experience and in the end gotta walked like "king kong" the next few days after the challenge...haha...

The route was kinda far from one check point to another with some challenging task to be accomplished at each and every check points which kicked off at Dataran Shah Alam.
--> Running around Taman Tasik Permai: 3 rounds
--> Orienteering: 10 control markers
--> Swimming at Pusat Akuatik
--> Wall Climbing at Shah Alam Extreme Park
--> Water Craft at Taman Rekreasi Raja Lumu

Real damn tiring going around Shah Alam in foot...!!!
Dataran Shah Alam --> Taman Rekreasi Permai --> Bukit Suk Shah Alam --> Concorde Hotel -->Seksyen 9 --> Pusat Akuatik --> Stadium Malawati --> Stadium Shah Alam --> Shah Alam Extreme Park --> Seksyen 11 & 12 --> Taman Rekreasi Raja Lumu --> Wisma MBSA --> Quality Hotel --> Taman Rekreasi Permai

But then, together with my partner...we can't make it in 4 hours time so only managed to finish up till Check Point 3: wall climbing at Shah Alam Extreme Park...
Anyway, it's one of the memorable moments with uni friends participating in such event.

Kem Pemantapan Fasilitator Muda UPSI Siri 3

Date : 24-26 September 2010
Location : Sungai Chiling, Selangor

One of the places which I have ever wanted to go and explore.
This chance came when a friend of mine was handling a Facilitator Camp at this place and invited me to join in.
At the same time, to help her out with the outdoor camp setting and assist the participants during outdoor activities.

This place is only open during weekends and as such the group got the permission to enter the camp site on Friday evening for the camp setup.

On the first day (24 September 2010), the participants were divided into a few groups for the camp setup of which they need to setup the tents, setup the cooking area, setup the electricity source using generator and etc.

On the second day (25 September 2010), they had all the talk sessions by the counselor in charge and also having group activities.

Where else on the final day (26 September 2010), we all went to the fall of Sungai Chiling which is only accessible by crossing the river for 6 times.

IPBA Caving & Rapid Tubing Activities @ Kenaboi

Location : Kem Kenaboi, Jelebu, Negeri Sembilan

One of the events with Kenaboi Adventure Team before the end of my semester in UPSI and also preparing for the final exam.

It was an event of a one day trip program by the students from Institut Perguruan Bahasa Antarabangsa (IPBA), Kuala Lumpur.

The events went on were caving and tubing with assistance from the whole Kenaboi Adventure Team (KAT) as usual.

Mid Autumn Festival aka Mooncake Festival aka Lantern Festival

Hmm...has been a very long time...

I didn't hold a lantern...

Bringing it walking all around the small town...

Walking in a group of children...

Shouting out loudly as a group...

Shouting: A..li...ma...li...poh...oh...oh...oh...

Then if came across other groups of children...

And we will start shouting louder and louder...

Competing among each other...

To see who is louder...haha...

Missed all those childhood moments...

Now where are all those shouts...???

I have not heard of it for some years back till now...

Now here is something special to be shared...

During my outdoor outing last weekend in Jelebu, Negeri Sembilan at Kampung Chennah...

I saw something that really surprised me and remind me of my childhood memories although there was no shouting of "a...li...ma...li...po...oh...oh...oh..."

When I was at there, the Malays children were holding the lantern...

Going around...walking around...cycling around...with the lantern...

Something I have not seen even when I was in my hometown during my childhood life...

So, this is what we call Malaysia...1 Malaysia...

Happy Mooncake Festival aka Happy Lantern Festival to everyone in Malaysia...

Amal Merdeka de' Broga

Date : 30 & 31 August 2010
Location : Broga Hill, Semenyih, Selangor

For the first time in my life as a Malaysian, I went out for a celebration for our Independence Day with friends from UPSI and getting along with new outdoor friends (all over from KL, Selangor, Port Dickson, Batu Pahat, Ipoh)...

We celebrated the day at Broga Hill with more than 50 participants on top of the hill.
Went up hiking the hill after "berbuka" and while waiting for the time to struck at 12:00am, there were BBQ and entertainment up there.

Other than that, of course for the Muslims they did not forget their "solat terawih"...
So, for outdoor people there is always a way on how to fulfill the responsibility as a God's follower.

When the time struck, firecrackers and fireworks were all around and what I'm impressed most at that time was the singing of our national anthem by all of us.
This shows that we are truly Malaysian regardless of who we are and where we are from...

Last but not least, there was also an additional event which is to raise some fund for an eight years old child suffering from nerve cancer (http://adamstumor.blogspot.com/)...

Around 1:30am we went down and gather at a "mamak" restaurant for some drink and even "sahur" then everybody went their own way back to the respective destination.
