At Bukit Jalil...

It's been a while when I last update my blog...
Gotta catch up...

This time around, need to attend industrial training during the semester break.
Having my industrial training at
National Sports Institute of Malaysia, Bukit Jalil (10 May 2010-2 July 2010)...

So on the 9th of May 2010, moved into the rented apartment with some of my stuff.
Well, the place is still new
(Taman LTAT, Bukit Jalil...somewhere near the fire station) so it was an empty apartment without any furniture.
Anyway, will be staying for only 8 weeks so don't really mind.

As there is no cupboard and it's completely an empty room, so I
came up with such idea to hang my clothes...hehe...

This is my room with my stuff...

My Chart...

Need to update my blog...
Too many things on my head...huhu...a very very busy year 2010...

Well, nothing much on this post actually.
Just to fill up my blog page with some stuff...

Economy is slow...
Must save on everything...
Must be creative...
Must be cost effective...

Now is the 2nd week of this semester's study.
So I came out with a planner chart for my 14 weeks of study which can be used for every semester...

Because want to save budget, here is my planner chart to remind me of what to do...

At the moment, these are the only filled in stuff (meetings, assignments, presentations, activities, library books due date, etc...)
Sooner or later this chart will be filled with more and more stuff...

Orienteering Control Marker

This semester I'm taking the orienteering subject.
So, one of our assignments is to make a control marker (12 inches x 12 inches) on our own.

Was completing this task that day during the raya break on the 23rd of September 2009 because need to hand in to the lecturer for evaluation after the break.

Just need some equipments in doing it...
--> White colour cloth
--> Orange colour cloth
--> Scissors (cutting the cloth of course)
--> Ruler (for measurement)
--> Sewing machine
--> Wire (for the shaping of the control marker)

Lazy to explain step by step, so I just put up the photos all the way of the process of making the control marker yea...
Oh yea, the
most difficult part was the shaping part of the wire because that wire is of the hard type and really made me mad of shaping it...hehe...

White and orange colour cloth...

Cutting into pieces of triangle shape...

Combining both the white and orange triangle...

Combining the combined white and orange triangle into one piece...

Shaping part (using the damn hard wire)...

Finally...it's done...

After I had finished doing it, my mom said: "Can be used as lantern for the Mooncake Festival..."
Haha...after I looked at it, yeah do look like a lantern... :-)

Although
not very perfect but it's a good achievement for me of completing it and not too bad actually, my own handmade... ;-)

What Happened...???

Oh gosh...what happened to my study table???
When I got back at home that day (29 April 2009), my whole study table was in a big mess...
Well, because the position of the bed is changed for the reason of having a better air flow I guess...hehe...

Oh yea, before talking about my table...
Wanna add in another stuff...my cupboard for clothes...
When
I opened the door, it slide out...hahaha...
Because the wheel is out of the rail and there is some crack.
Then I repaired it...hehe...and it's back to normal... :-)

After repairing, I was having a headache at first.
Because there were a lot of things I need to tidy up and it was really in a
very very messy condition...huhu...
All the books, CDs, files, etc...

It took a few hours for me to settle everything (evening about 5:00pm till night around 11:30pm)...then only I took my shower late at midnight...hehe...

Hooray...after all the hard work, it's all in a tidy condition... :-)

Tidy Up!!!

Before I'm back at home, I have a messed up room in my hostel but then it's all settled when I was busy packing up all the stuff to bring home (prepare for exam and semester break).

Then when back at home, I messed up my room with all my stuff and it's really very irritating to have all the things all around. So I tidy up my room that day (22 November 2008, Saturday) and as such I missed the Ayer Tawarian eat, eat, eat program...haha...

It took the whole day for me to tidy up everything and I also set up the CD/VCD player stuff on my study table...hehe... Well, I like to listen to music while studying and also when I'm doing something. So I'll turn it into a high volume especially if it's a 'boom boom' music...haha...

Door Knob

Here's another skill that I'm quite good in...hehe... Changing the door knob... That day (31/10/2008) wanted to lock my room's door before I went out but don't know where is the key. It was missing in action kinda long time ago and as such my mom asked me to change the door knob to a new one since there are some extra door knob at home.

So I took one and changed. Now my room is with a new door knob...hehe... Below are the processes going on during that day when I changed it.

"The old door knob...kinda antique right..."

"This is the first step of doing it"

"It's easy, just take out all the screws..."

"These are all the components taken out"

"Before fixing the new door knob..."

"Yeah...almost done!!!"

"Hooray...it's done..."
Well, it's kinda easy right...hehe... So can call me to help if anyone wanna change the door knob...hahaha... Of course only on this simple door knob lar...

Time Wasted...

Yesterday (1/10/2008) was the first day of Hari Raya celebration. Stayed at home only, having some religion study in the evening. Morning, I did some stuff which I hope I'm able to get it done so that my room is brighter with another lamp which is spoilt already (wanna repair). To make it short, I'm an electrician yesterday morning...hahaha...

One of the lamp in my room is spoilt (a few months already), so I changed it with another bulb but not working and as such I changed the 'starter' but then also not working. I decided to change the whole thing, so I went outside my house and took one that is without a bulb but still connected to other lamp. I need to take out the whole thing and also disconnect the connected wire there.

"Taking out the whole thing (outside the house): opening the case"

"Disconnecting the connected wire"

After taking out the whole thing, I took it into my room to be fixed and replaced the one that is not functioning. I had to take out the one in my room then only fixed the one which I took outside my house and fixed it in my room. My arm was so damn sore fixing the thing up there. After everything is fixed, try switching on the lamp and hoping that it will light up.

"Fixing the thing onto the ceiling (arm very sore)..."

"Connecting the wire"

Damn...so sad...after the hard work and time wasted going up and down the ladder, the lamp didn't light up. I was thinking of connecting the wire of the other lamp to this just fixed lamp but then no extra wire in my house. So I just left it like that (non-functioning lamp)... FRUSTRATED and TIME WASTED...
